Finished power strips — or just the brass inside them
Two ways to work with us: buy the brass parts and assemble yourself, or have the whole unit built to your specification. Both start in the same place — the Zhongshan belt where the brass is stamped.

Standards
Built to the standard your market runs on
The plug standard decides the pin profile, the contact geometry and how the earth is arranged. Tell us the destination market and we build to it.
| Standard | Market | What it means on the strip |
|---|---|---|
| BS1363 | United Kingdom, Ireland, Gulf states, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia | Three rectangular pins, fused plug, shuttered socket. Heavier brass cross-section because of the higher current rating. |
| CEE 7/7 (Schuko) & Type E | Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, and most of the EU | Two round pins with side earthing. Contact clips do the gripping, so their spring behaviour is the critical feature. |
| NEMA 5-15 | United States, Canada, Mexico | Two flat blades plus a round earth pin. Blade thickness and alignment matter as much as the contact material. |
| AS/NZS 3112 | Australia, New Zealand | Three flat pins in a V arrangement with an angled earth. |
| Type L | Italy | Three round pins in line; the centre earth varies by rating. |
| Universal / multi-socket | Export and travel markets | Accepts several plug types in one outlet — harder on the contacts, so material choice matters more, not less. |
This is a working summary, not a compliance statement. Your destination market’s current version of the standard governs, and your certification body will confirm it — tell us the market and we build and document to the specification you give us.
What we build
Finished units, standard by standard
Each unit below is built to the plug standard named under it, or to your own specification. The brass inside them is stamped on the same lines as the parts on our brass parts page — socket count, cable, switch and USB ports are set to your market and your price point.

BS1363 — UK
Rectangular-pin sockets for the UK, Ireland, the Gulf, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Schuko & Type E — EU
Round-pin sockets for Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and most of the EU.

NEMA 5-15 — US
Flat-blade sockets for the United States, Canada and Mexico, with or without USB charging.

AS/NZS 3112 — AU
Three flat pins in a V arrangement with an angled earth, for Australia and New Zealand.

Universal / multi-socket
Several plug types accepted in one body, with USB charging and a switch — for desks, retail and export ranges.

PDU & rack power
Four to eight ways in an aluminium body with mounting brackets, for cabinets, benches and rack installations.
Representative configurations, not a fixed catalogue — housing, socket count, cable length and your branding are all made to your specification. Other standards — Italian Type L, Swiss, Danish — are built the same way; ask and we will send photographs of a comparable unit.

Inside the unit
The part that actually fails is the one we make
A power strip is a plastic housing, a cable and a set of brass conductors. The conductors are where the current transfers and where the contact either keeps its spring or does not. Because that is our main line, the finished unit is quoted with a clear view of the critical component rather than bought in blind.
- Contact clips, busbars and terminal strips stamped in-house to the geometry the socket needs
- Material chosen for the duty: H62 or H65 brass, phosphor bronze where the contact has to hold its grip
- Component-level material and RoHS documents supplied with the finished unit
Configuration
What you can specify
Configured to your market and your price point — you are not choosing from a fixed catalogue.
Electrical
- Socket count and outlet layout
- Cable length, gauge and plug type
- Switch, indicator light, master control
- Rated current for the destination market
Charging
- USB-A ports, USB-C ports, or a mix
- Fast-charge protocols on request
- Port count and output configured to your price point
- Separate or shared circuitry with the mains outlets
Physical & brand
- Housing shape, colour and material finish
- Your logo and artwork on the product and the box
- Retail packaging, hang card, blister or master carton
- Manual and label in your market’s language
Why this line exists. A power strip is mostly brass, plastic and cable. Because we already make the brass for the industry, we can quote the finished unit with a clear view of the part that actually fails — the contact. It also means one conversation covers component and finished product, instead of two suppliers blaming each other when something does not fit.

Certification
Where the certification sits — said plainly
This is where a lot of suppliers oversell, so here is the honest version.
- Finished-product certification — CE, UKCA, UL, SNI, TIS, SIRIM, SASO, G-Mark — is granted to the finished appliance. It is arranged with the assembler, per order, against the market you are selling into.
- What we provide — component-level material test reports, RoHS reports, dimensional records and batch traceability. These are the inputs your certification file needs.
- What we will not do — claim to hold a certificate we do not hold. If a certification question comes up, we would rather answer it precisely than win the order and lose it at the port.
If your market needs a specific certificate, say so at the enquiry stage. It changes the material documentation, the labelling and sometimes the design — and it is much cheaper to build in from the start than to fix afterwards.
Getting started
How a power strip project runs
Tell us the market and the specification
Destination country, socket standard, socket count, cable length, USB requirement, target retail price and annual volume. If you have a reference product you are trying to match or beat, send a photo.
Quotation and specification sheet
A unit price band, the critical components and their materials, tooling implications for the housing if a new mould is needed, packaging cost and lead time.
Sample and approval
A physical sample for you to test and show your own customers, together with the material and RoHS documents for the brass parts.
Production and shipment
Inspection against the approved sample, packing to your artwork, then shipping from Shenzhen or Guangzhou with photographs of the goods before they leave.
